Maurice_Canada: This week as I went about my daily grind and focusing on preparation and awareness of the Greater Community I was fortunate enough to meet a younger couple who had just fallen in love. I asked them about their backgrounds, education and how they met. We spoke for a couple of hours and the whole time they were just beaming with joy. We spoke on many things we could relate to. Then I spoke about living life for a higher purpose when we get into relationships. I then asked them if it would be alright if I made an observation about something that they might be aware of and if it was okay to get their opinion on it. I said eventually we find someone in our live and we just know that that other person is right for us, without a doubt. When we start to live our lives as young adults we try to find answers to life’s many problems and why we are here, do we not? So, if you were given the key to the information you were looking for would you unlock the door that might change your life and…

I handed them the DVD set on relationships and told them how I wished someone would of given me this information years ago when I needed some clarity. As we spoke some more the young woman spoke about how her religion had failed her at a time when she needed clear answers too. I then asked her if she could find someone who would show her how to find self reliance, guide her in her development, to educate her about what’s really going on in the world, to help her become stronger and more competent, mentally and physically within herself, would her listen to what he might reveal for her? I then introduced her to the web site of the NM. We all exchanged our e mails and phone numbers and promised to keep in touch. Their questions are endless and I steer them to information we have in our support system. Even if I know the answer I get them to find it as I believe we have to discover everything for ourselves.

But it is the individual that will bring the message to the world. I was thinking the other day about how my village might look after the sea level rises to the extent it is predicted to rise. The lower part of the village by the river will probably be under water. I have a plot up on a hill and plan to build a house for my children. Who knows who might live there eventually, but I have this feeling it’s going to come to good use.

Knowing a lot more than many others is sometimes incredibly frustrating and it is not saving anyone to begin talking about something more important, when a gentle person is describing an appreciation for something that would seem like a nice subject to talk about. But it just tells me the ugent reason to clean up the mess behind me and come clear again…….but I am not very comfortable with the Intervention at all.

LaRaeUK: It is interesting, when I first came to TNM, I actively avoided Allies….but when I had a good year of Steps practice, I was finally able to come to it slowly…and several months down the road have actively embraced it, studied it, continue to study it and even speak openly with people about it without fear. I now even feel that attending UFO conventions is a calling. I was so, so hesitant, but Knowledge has given me the strength I need to help get this material into the world.

Virgie_near Seattle: Thinking more this week about not losing faith in human institutions, I kept remembering when I was 12 and first started feeling called to ministry–I was looking at the pathetic state of the Church and wanting to fix its errors. Much of what I saw as problems were real, but there was so much narcissistic fantasy in my response. Then at 14 I became deeply depressed, my parents divorced, and my family minus my mother starting attending a new church. And a small group of imperfect people took me under their wings … So much of the harsh judgement I had been harboring fell mercifully away. It made a huge difference to me to go from a place of standing apart from others and looking with judgement, to working alongside others and connecting with them. My understanding of the Church and its errors and my sense of call changed dramatically …

Yet, I always keep it simple because if I didn’t I expereince ambivalence within my practice. To unburden myself as samantha spoke of earlier and to become strong in Knowledge takes time yet I have a lifetime to do it. Yet the pressure of time is always there. MVS told me once that in this journey I need to “be patient, determined and kind to myself.” There is so much to unlearn inorder to make room for new learning to occur. This is what i have been practicing slowly but with determination since I found the New Message. And again for me things are not always as they seem and understanding will come later “IF” I remain determined in my journey up the mountain with the Messenger, The Society and my fellow students. It was like feeding the hungry in a canteen line, I have never seen so much NM information disseminated in one day. We made deeper connections with many of the attendees, and others came with their own established perspectives which were evidently challenged by the material, but who left with a book and articles anyway.
James_Boulder: @ Ellen, regarding the question of why the Allies don’t just intervene on our behalf… the importance of anticipating questions that may be asked of us and how we would respond must not be overlooked. The immense benefit of being a beginning student in our study of the Revelation, always looking to ask questions of what we read or study and the practice of being with these questions not just the answers. This provides such a strong advocacy foundation, for when the questions are eventually asked of us, we may answer from our own grappling with the question and not just a stock response.

Ellen_Society: One of the guidelines asks us to think of ourselves as living within a GC of Intelligent life, a GC where life has evolved and where technology has accelerated, but a GC with the limits of physical life that are still impinging on everyone who exists in the physical universe.
I tried a simple experiment that had a profound effect on me: For a week, I decided to imagine myself surrounded by our galaxy, my every move being within that Galaxy. It took a conscious reminder to myself throughout the day, but the impact on me was dramatic. This deeply helped me to realize that I am a citizen of this part of the inhabited universe. I haven’t forgotten that.
This simple practice also informed me that I had lived elsewhere in the Universe in other times. Those “memories” are vague but persistent.
justin-calif-!: Until a better idea becomes evident, my plan is to give out Nm info every chance I get. Any places people gather is good ground. While some are receptive, be prepared for resistance and even ridicule- It’s good to develop a bit if thick skin- and keep in mind the endgame- the future freedom of Humanity-

I’ve found that if I remain a beginning student of the Way of Knowledge and speak to people from that viewpoint as opposed to someone who knows all the answers, I am able to deeply listen to others’ questions. Mathieu_France: @Ellen: I found that this simple thing of trying to pop up on the new CS chat for the hourlies, seeing others from around the world doing the same, or simply thinking about other students in other parts of the world that were perhaps going to sleep, or waking up in the morning depending on their location… being with that developed some global perspective, helping me to perceive myself on this Earth space ship cruising in the universe, feeling nights and days as simple matters of alignements and occultations between the planet and its star… somehow I gained some altitude internally with this simple perspective and life down here felt somewhat less oppressive.

Yet the important thing is to find the middle ground—the center line, the fulcrum point where you have true balance in life and the strength to face the unknown and the unexpected. Knowledge is the center line between hope and fear. It is the keel of your ship. It is the center of your life. God put it there and it will not fail you, unless you fail it.
Paul_MA: Ellen- One way to position the GC guidelines to people new to this information, is to discuss past events such as the European expansion into this country and the consequences to the native americans,…many many tribes…And then discuss what happened to the Aztecs in South American, how they were conquered and displaced…then say that is starting to happen now…..It may also be effective to make copies of the first page of the the Revelation with the GC guidelines and give to receptive people.
manuel germany :): Humanity need to outgrow its reckless, irresponsible adolescent behavior to become an adult, more mature, and restore, protect the world and its resources, to cooperate and unite, to stop war immediately, to set out the rules of engagement with the GC. The Great Waves of change and the alien competition on Earth will finally unite humanity, so we will protect our world, our self-sufficiency and freedom and so further human civilization. On point 7 -“Do not fall prey to persuasion and inducements from any extraterrestrial presence who is active in the world interfering in human affairs….” this gives an indication on those who are currently being influenced in the world, by the intervention, not secluded to only one group, I feel, for example those who may believe that the intervention is benevolent, or is a guardian, etc… a questions that arise are , should we warn people who are currently being influenced/deceived? How should we warn them so that if foster human unity? Something to consider when advocating, I feel?

There is a little red squirrel under the feeder where chickadees and a bright red evening grosbeak share a snack. Further to to back, a pair of magpies play, and ravens watch the proceedings. What a marvelous gift, All for the price of a few seeds.
