The Signs Are There

Categories: Great Waves weekly quote

The truth in life is that you do not know what is going to happen next unless Knowledge gives you an insight or a clue.

People base their whole lives on a set of unquestioned assumptions about the continuance of things that they recognize and are accustomed to. But life can give you a new experience and can rob you of your abilities.

Things can change for you dramatically in a moment—a great accident, a great loss, a great illness, a tragic set of events in your community, war, pestilence, drought, famine or flooding. The list goes on and on, and yet people are not wary. They are not looking. They are not paying attention. They are not reading the signs of the world that are telling them that great change is upon them.

If you are not reading the signs of the world, you are not behaving in an intelligent manner.

The signs are there.

Prepare your inner and outer life through studying The Great Waves of Change.

It is always true that when we change from one major era to the next there is a relatively short period of discontinuity. In fact, everything usually considered normal can seem to be upside down and the reverse of what it should be. If it weren’t so, there would be no true distinction between eras. Humanity has gone through discontinuities in the past, such as the Deluge, but never on a global scale as we anticipate now. The question is, when nothing is as it should be, what are you going to do? At least half of the global population will be unable to avoid untimely death. Others will follow one religion or another to survive. Some will put their hope in aliens and their spaceships to tell them what should be done. Scientists will hope in science for survival. It is up to each person to make his/her individual decision in this matter. There is no single answer or panacea for the human race as a whole.
