The message that We are presenting in this book is of the greatest importance, and yet you must find out for yourself. You must discover what you know, and you must be able to see the world clearly. You must be able to see with your own eyes—not the eyes of your culture, not the eyes of your religion, not the eyes of your family, not the eyes of your friends, but with your own eyes and with the greater Mind that is within you.
Because the Greater Community represents such a vast network of societies and such a tremendous variety of environments and races and natures and so forth, spirituality must take on a more universal character, a more essential nature. If it is encrusted with cultural images, if it is intertwined with the social history of certain cultures alone, then its essential nature becomes clouded and more difficult to access.
You have come here for a greater purpose. You were born with the Knowledge of what you must do, what you must accomplish, who you must meet and where you must go. It is time to find this Knowledge and begin to live it.
Certainly, becoming aware of what you think and why you think what you think is directly connected to how you see what you see and what you value. If you are taught to think in a certain way, then you will only see certain things that are associated with that, and this will help determine what you value.
The religious traditions of the world have a rich heritage, and from a Greater Community perspective, they have kept Knowledge alive in the world despite their manipulation by world governments, societies and so forth. They have kept the glow of spirituality alive for many, many people.
Humanity is entering a time of great difficulty, a time where you will face the Great Waves of change that are coming to the world: environmental decline, the depletion of resources, growing political and economic instability and the increasing risk of competition, conflict and war between nations over who will have access to the remaining resources of the world.
It is now necessary to discuss a subject of grave importance that may well be difficult to understand at first. It is the problem of evil and the Forces of Dissonance. This is a difficult subject for many people because there is a great deal of fear and apprehension regarding it, as well as a great deal of denial and many distorted perspectives.
For centuries, people of all cultures and faiths have wondered about life in the universe, speculating and pondering on the possibilities there. What would advanced civilizations be like? What would they have achieved with their technology? How would they be able to travel within the vast distances between stars and solar systems? And have they themselves, as advanced races in the universe, overcome competition, conflict and war?
