While people are preoccupied with their daily lives, and while nations are preoccupied with their economic difficulties and their contentions and agreements with one another, the Intervention has been growing in the world. Though it represents a small force, it is having a growing influence. This is the power of persuasion that is used immensely and to great effect within the universe around you, within a Greater Community of intelligent life, of which humanity is but a very small part.
It is easy to ask questions. It is more difficult to find the real answers. People are hungry for answers, but they do not have the awareness yet. So when considering the message in The Allies Briefings, people must begin to develop a Greater Community awareness and sensitivity.
Many people, when reading The Allies of Humanity Briefings, will become afraid. They will read it as if they think it is real and genuine, which it is, and they will become frightened and want to withdraw. They will want to deny it in some way.
Humanity now must concern itself with avoiding disaster. This disaster is under recognized and under appreciated by the people who should be looking at this: people in government, people in commerce, religious leaders, community leaders and so forth.
It is evident that you are entering into a time of great instability and uncertainty in the world, a time where the Great Waves of change are beginning to strike the world: resource depletion, environmental degradation, violent weather, growing economic and political instability and the risk of war and conflict over the world’s remaining resources.
I would like to speak about achievement and relationship. Sometimes people are uncomfortable with the things I say. To a certain degree, this cannot be helped because not everyone likes everything. Sometimes I put a little pebble in your shoe, so to speak, because it is good to think about things. Often when you are engaged in discussing very important matters, it is very easy to maintain self-comforting ideas and to rely upon them to answer all the controversies that may arise. To penetrate the real truth within your life, however, sometimes you must let these controversies rage a little and see what happens. Sometimes you must think very carefully about your own assumptions and be able to distinguish your assumptions from those things you really know to be true. In other words, you must distinguish between belief and direct experience.
In The Greater Community Way of Knowledge, answers are not always easy to find. Things are not always immediately accessible. This is because you must go deeper. You must penetrate things that are simple and obvious to find what is really at the heart of your life and what accounts for the mystery of your life. In The Way of Knowledge, we take people through many stages of development. There are other Teachers who are disseminating information at various levels to help people on their way, but our role is a little bit different. We actually present a curriculum for training in Knowledge according to the ancient schools in the Greater Community.
When you are with Knowledge, you can afford to be kind because you are not rushing about the world trying to fulfill your goals and assure your security. You are able to be in present time with far greater effectiveness and far greater presence of mind.
The Greater Community of Worlds is a subject that may be difficult to comprehend intellectually. Yet if this message stirs a deeper emotion within you, that would be good. When We speak of factual matters that are beyond the sphere of individual concerns, it is most important that you not speculate according to your ideas, for ideas alone cannot account for reality. That is why if you feel stirred in your deeper feelings, it is good.
Everyone wants freedom – the freedom to survive, the freedom to be secure, the freedom to meet the basic needs of life: food, water, clothing and shelter. Everyone wants the freedom to pursue their goals and interests. Everyone wants the freedom to establish meaningful relationships with others.
