What is the Greater Community?

he Greater Community is an environment in which you live. It represents the greater physical and spiritual universe into which humanity is now emerging. You have always lived in the Greater Community, but your relative isolation in this world has not given you the experience of the greater context into which you are now emerging. It is this greater context that will give you the clarity and the understanding that you will need to discover the greater purpose that has brought you into the world.

The Greater Community into which humanity is now emerging represents a vast network of communities and cultures in the physical universe. This vast network represents the evolution of intelligent life in all of its manifestations, from the very primitive to the very advanced. It encompasses cultures that possess a wide array of values, motivations, beliefs and associations.

Gaining Strength and Influence in the Mental Environment

As you have a physical proximity in which you live and function, you also have a mental environment in which you learn to think. Yet it takes a long time to learn how to develop discernment and ability within this mental environment. In fact, for humanity at this point, the mental environment represents a great frontier, a whole new area to explore and within which to gain strength and ability.

You have come here for a greater purpose. You were born with the Knowledge of what you must do, what you must accomplish, who you must meet and where you must go. It is time to find this Knowledge and begin to live it.

In life, people see what they can see based upon their vantage point and based upon what colors their perception. Clearly, if you reach a higher vantage point on the mountain of life, you are able to see more. You are able to see things you simply could not see before because you did not have the position from which to look. Previously, you could believe anything, but you could not see.

Humanity has evolved primarily to deal with its environment and to learn how to interact and compete with itself. This means that human intelligence, discernment and capability have evolved largely in response to living in the natural environment and in dealing with other human beings.

If you are taught to think in a certain way, then you will only see certain things that are associated with that, and this will help determine what you value.

It is the environment in which you think. Invisible to the eye and to the senses, it nonetheless casts as great and sometimes an even greater influence upon you than does your physical environment, which you see, sense and touch.

It is necessary that We talk about honesty within the context of preparing for the Greater Community and learning how to follow and live The Way of Knowledge. It could be said that the experience of Knowledge is the experience of profound honesty. This is the result of wanting to know the truth above and beyond all other considerations. It could be said that learning The Way of Knowledge is learning the way of honesty—going beyond the honesty of what you feel and think into the honesty of what you truly know.

Work is the essential activity of life. What you do for work, who you work with and for what purpose you work determine the essential value that you will experience in life. Work is natural. It is necessary, and it is the foundation of your existence here. To think otherwise is to miss the point about life. It is to misunderstand your purpose for coming here, the value that you bring with you and the opportunity for relationship that your work provides for you.
