We will consider your questions. This is important in establishing the New Message, in establishing a new theological framework in the world, for it is time now for humanity to learn of spirituality in the Greater Community of life in which your world has always existed.
It is time now to outgrow tribal focus, tribal identification; to learn a new paradigm; to realize the evolution of religious understanding in the Universe, where it has been most fully expressed and where it has been most greatly achieved. Humanity now must gain a greater perspective in order to establish human unity and understanding and to meet and face the Great Waves of Change that are coming to the world and to recognize and to offset the Greater Darkness that is in the world. You cannot meet a new reality with an old understanding, and that is why God has sent a New Message into the world, a message for the protection and advancement of humanity.
The first question is, “What is creation?” Creation is all that God has created within time and beyond time. You live within time, so you live in part of creation that is in motion, that is in flux, that is unstable, that is evolving and expanding. This part of creation was established to provide a home for the separated where they could experience separation and have the opportunity to choose a way to return to that part of creation that does not change, that is complete and eternal. The creation that you must be concerned with is this temporary creation—time and space, a physical reality, a reality of constant change, of evolving systems, a reality of contrast and conflict, a reality of life and death.
Separation created this reality, for God knew that the separated must have a foundation upon which to exist. And it has set in train the physical Universe that you are only beginning to comprehend and that you must learn to serve and to recognize if you are to outgrow its fascinations and to forgive its tragedies. Creation beyond this is beyond your awareness now though you are actually living within it, for the temporary creation is happening at another level. You are already surrounded by the permanent creation, but your eyes cannot see it, your ears cannot hear it, your fingers cannot touch it because your senses were only established to recognize physical things—things that are moving, objects that are moving, sounds that are changing. The Greater Reality in which you live is all around you. You have never left it, but given your reliance upon your senses, you cannot experience it directly without a certain kind of preparation.
This is entirely confounding to your human understanding, and this is entirely confounding to the understanding of the countless races of beings who live within this Greater Community of intelligent life that comprises the physical Universe in which we live. They are all living in separation. They are all experiencing evolution. They represent the evolution of consciousness, technology and social establishments at every conceivable level. But this is all happening within the permanent creation itself. For while this appears to be separation and you live in this separated state, where everything seems to be distinct and unique, where everything is changing and moving, being born and dying, you have not left the permanent creation. It is still here.
So the separation is fundamentally a problem in perception and communication and awareness. There have been very few individuals in the history of humanity who have been able to break through the veil that seems to separate this physical, temporary, changing reality from your permanent reality, that represents your Ancient Home, where God is known, where you are known, where there are no questions, for there are no conflicts, where change does not exist for it is not needed.
This is inconceivable to you in your current state, and it is not even desirable given your priorities and objectives, but it is important for you to know that the separation has not really succeeded, that the break from God has not really been accomplished. It is real in your current experience of reality within this partial creation in which you exist, but it is temporary. That is why it is changing. That is why it is evolving.
If life in the physical were not changing and evolving, it would be hell for you. Imagine being in a reality that you did not like, a reality that never changed. You would have no hope. You would make no progress. And even if that physical reality, that unchanging physical reality, was perfect in meeting all your perceived needs, well, after awhile, you would see that living in a body is inherently uncomfortable, problematic and difficult, and you would want to be free. But you could not be free in that case, for you would have established a kind of immortality in your imagined physical reality, and you would be trapped, you see.
For Hell is a beautiful place where you can never be happy. That is Hell. If you were in a place of real torment, you would want to go home to God right away. But here, in this beautiful hell, you are ambivalent. You are attached. It intrigues you, it seduces you, it mesmerizes you. And though you fear its dangers, its terrors and its unpredictability in this current physical reality, you are still fixated upon it.
So for you, creation is the physical Universe. It seems to be forever, but it is really temporary. It has a beginning, a middle and an end. You have not even reached the middle spot of this expanding Universe, so this is something that is confounding to your understanding.
It is important for you to know, should you ever think that immortality in the physical realm is desirable, you must recognize that such a state would be Hell itself. To be in a beautiful place where you could never be happy would be extremely hellish, and you would be held there for a long time because you would keep wanting it, believing in it, hoping for it, trying to make it work.
The fact that your physical reality is constantly changing, is expanding and evolving, is going through growth and decay, gives you hope and promise that your greater purpose, the need of the soul, may be fulfilled here. This requires an entirely different theological and philosophical foundation. If you believe you are in the world because you have sinned, because you have been condemned, then, well, you will not recognize the great opportunity that exists within your reality for your redemption. And indeed, given the philosophical foundations of many of the world’s religions today, it makes this picture incredibly complex and unclear and difficult to discern.
Yet God has placed Knowledge within you—a deeper mind, a deeper understanding—and this Knowledge holds your purpose and direction and the promise of your greater accomplishments in the world. For because you have entered separation, you must now serve the separation; you must serve people and life existing in this separated state. This is how you rediscover and re-experience the permanence of your Ancient Home.
Redemption is not simply pleasing God and going to Heaven or not pleasing God and going to Hell. This is ridiculous. This represents a purely human separated state of mind and position. You believe that the righteous should be rewarded and the wicked should be punished and that God will give the rewards and do the punishment. And you imagine God to be like yourself, to have your temperament, to have your values, to uphold your sense of justice, to meet your criteria and expectations. This is foolish and arrogant, of course, but this is the position of many people.
But do not worry, for everyone in the physical Universe—the countless races of beings in all stages of evolution—has the same kinds of assumptions. It is to be expected. God is not fooled by it. God is not upset by it. It is simply the result of living in a separated state. Even your notions of religion and spirituality are founded within this separated state. People imagine heaven to be kind of a perfect version of their physical reality without realizing that should such a reality ever be created, it would be hell itself. To be in a beautiful place where you could never be happy would be a kind of ongoing hell.
And God cannot make you happy by a stroke of a wand or by some spell. You must return to your permanent state as God created you, not as a conflicted individual. You would not be able to even experience your permanent reality as a conflicted, unhappy individual. You would see the projections of your own mind, you would want to be in an environment that represented your own conflicted state, and that is what keeps you here.
You could be in a worse state. You could experience Hell more fully. You could be more miserable, certainly. There seems to be no end to the degrees of misery that people are willing to accommodate and to adapt themselves to. But nonetheless, creation is complete, and your temporary experience of reality in this temporary reality that you call the physical Universe is but a tiny part of God’s permanent creation—a creation that you cannot yet experience clearly for yourself, even though you might have glimpses here and there.
People’s beliefs and assumptions and their metaphysical ideas and their religious values and their speculations all suffer from a kind of level confusion. They try to imagine a permanent blessed state called Heaven, but they cannot see it as it really is. They cannot resonate with it yet as it really is, for they are not ready for that. They have not been yet prepared for Heaven, to return. They are not complete in their service here in the physical reality. They have not completed their mission here.
When the separation began, before any of your estimation of time or history, the solution was instantly created, for while the separation may fool you, may captivate you, may mesmerize you, may trap you and all other entities and beings who are in the physical reality at this time, it did not fool God. It may be foolproof, but it is not Godproof. So the solution was created immediately, but in time it seems to take such a great deal of experience for the solution to be accepted and experienced and expressed.
You are lingering in time. Time is the interval between the point at which you left your permanent creation to the time in which you finally return to it completely. That interval is called time. Time is inconceivable and unnecessary in your permanent reality because time is related to change. It is related to events that change. It is something that marks the progression of events.
The whole notion of time is part of the adaptation to living within a physical reality. It is a form of measurement that was established out of necessity to be able to organize one’s thoughts and actions, to be able to interface with a changing physical reality, to be able to mark one’s progress and accomplishments and to understand one’s history and past and the history and the past of others who have dwelt here. Time is unnecessary in your permanent reality. It is irrelevant.
And you can see from our words here how far you are from yet being able to experience this or resonate with it. Perhaps it intrigues you. Perhaps it stirs an ancient memory in you. Perhaps there’s aspects of it that you yearn for. Perhaps it looks boring to you and unexciting and unappealing to be living in a changeless reality.
You are so addicted to change. You love change and you hate change. You love your physical existence, and you hate your physical existence. It intrigues you. It stimulates you. And yet it hurts you and terrifies you and disappoints you.
It is this seemingly irreconcilable problem, confusion, dichotomy that God’s answer addresses directly. For God has placed within you a deeper inheritance that is not confused by what confuses your thinking, worldly mind. It is not befuddled by the world. It is not deceived by appearances. It is not attracted to all the things that seem to induce you and seduce you and lure you. It is not terrified by what terrifies you. It is not afraid of change and loss and death, for it is the permanent part of you. It is the part of you that could never separate from God.
This Knowledge is within you now. It is here on a mission to contribute within certain circumstances with certain individuals to achieve certain things. Its ultimate purpose is beyond your comprehension, but the steps that it provides for you are immediately accessible and can be discerned if you are willing and open and capable. It resolves the dilemma because it expresses the reality of your Ancient Home through you while you are here in this temporary physical reality. It demonstrates a greater power, a greater resonance and a greater relationship, and it provides real, tangible service here in the world. For people are suffering. They are languishing in time. They are experiencing desperation, hopelessness. And the world is facing great travail in the near future.
God is not careless in this matter. God sends into the world what is needed to keep everyone here moving in a positive direction. But people in this reality have the decision and the power to make the world more a reflection of their Ancient Home or a more hellish place.
So the question arises, “To what extent does God have influence over the world?” The temporary reality was created so the separated could live and choose and experience their limitations. So fundamentally God rarely intervenes within this reality directly, but God has placed Knowledge within each person, like a beacon guiding them. The fact that most people do not recognize the reality of Knowledge or experience its signs and signals or heed its warnings or follow its direction is only a problem in time, for in time you will respond eventually, but the longer it takes, the greater degree of suffering you will undergo.
There are times in history where interventions have been made to prepare humanity for a new reality or for a greater set of circumstances or to prevent a real catastrophe that would set back all the progress that has been made in this world. Such interventions are rare, but God’s influence is ever present.
You cannot return to Heaven unwillingly. You cannot return to your Ancient Home ambivalent or with grievances or aggravation or resentment. These things must all be worked out in time.
How will these fundamental conflicts be resolved? You yourself cannot figure this out. Whatever prescription for happiness you or others generate, it really cannot meet the need fully, and in many cases it only compounds the problem. People want to have pleasure without pain. They want to have a good life without problems. They want to have success without failure. They want to feel good about themselves without self-doubt or self-recrimination. They want only part of what they are experiencing here, a very small part of what they are experiencing here.
For if you are truly honest with yourself, you must recognize that your experience of physical existence is predominantly one of suffering and uncertainty. You have moments of happiness, moments of reprieve, moments of enjoyable distraction. You perhaps believe you are happier than you really are, and many people suffer from this delusion, but if you are really honest about it, looking at your own experience objectively, you will have to admit that really it is not a very balanced experience. It is weighted far more towards suffering, uncertainty and anxiety than it is towards any real enjoyment of life.
And this problem of suffering has been a major issue for religions in the world and for important teachers and important traditions to deal with directly. It is a major problem and it is a problem that many people have not yet even faced. Here the poor have a certain advantage over the rich, for the rich are more deluded than the poor. They have much more fantasy regarding their life and their prospects for the future than do the poor, who are facing more directly the aggravation and the destitution of trying to survive in a physical reality without having the necessary resources to do so.
The problem is that you are ambivalent about God. You want God only sometimes, when you are really unhappy or facing a difficult dilemma or decision or if you are facing loss or anxiety about the future. When you are really, really unhappy then you might want God but only to meet certain ends, of course.
When people are happy and self-satisfied, God is the last thing they are thinking of. Maybe they are thanking God for their happiness, but that is not really accurate because their happiness is only temporary and partial, and why would you thank God for a temporary and partial happiness? Perhaps they are experiencing good fortune and they give thanks to the gods, the god of whatever their religion indicates, and they give thanks. But really, they do not want to re-enter direct relationship. Only a very few people in the world really want to do that and commit themselves to that. And the world is not very accommodating to them. It forces them to live in monasteries, convents or other kinds of retreats.
The fact is that your permanent home, permanent creation, is in many ways incompatible with your experience of the physical reality. And this incompatibility leads to certain kinds of conflicts in understanding and difficult problems and questions. At the level of consciousness, it comes down to your ambivalence about God. Fundamentally, you still really want to be in this reality. You are still attached to being here. You are still wanting things from this. You are still hoping it will work out, that it will be better this time.
Some people believe that God, through grace, will just sort of evaporate this ambivalence, this conflict of purpose and intention, and you just enter Heaven as if nothing ever happened. But this is just an attempt to accommodate human expectation.
If you think God is like a judge and is giving out rewards and condemnations, you will have to think that God will just sort of dissolve your conflict of mind, erase your error-prone past. But this is absurd. This gives you no responsibility. Besides, God cannot erase your memory for it is your memory. God did not create your memory and therefore cannot erase it.
It is you, through time and experience and contribution, through following the deeper Knowledge that God has placed within you, the real answer to the separation that has been placed within you, that, that is what will resolve this conflict. And your plans and schemes and speculations and theories and philosophies, well, before you know it, it is so complex and so full of contradictions that it does not even make sense to the person who has the simplest approach.
You see, you cannot have it both ways. If you want to stay here, and you do, because now you have a greater purpose for being here, rather than simply escape, then you must be here. But it is the purpose for which you are here that makes the difference.
God has given you a greater purpose for being in separation, to replace your initial purpose for being in separation, which was to be separate, to be distinct, to be a god in your own Universe, to create your own reality. And you are still trying to do this. You validate that which is unique about you. You accentuate that which is unusual about you, that which is particular about you, spectacular about you, and unique. Even in your self-criticism you emphasize that which sets you apart.
This is all the tendency toward separation, and it is still operative within you. But God has given you a greater purpose for being here that is contained within Knowledge within you. And this the New Message from God emphasizes. For God is not a judge. There is no judgment day where everyone comes forward and gets evaluated based upon their good deeds and their bad deeds, and the good ones are sent to Heaven and the bad ones are sent to Hell.
God would never send anyone to Hell. Why would God attack part of God’s creation? Why would God condemn those who could only make a mistake without the power and the presence of Knowledge to guide them? This is a projection of human values and human concepts. And yet many people in this world and in other worlds believe fervently that this is the case.
You are not of one mind. There is a deeper mind within you that God has created, and there is a mind at the surface that you and the world have created. They are not the same mind. They have a different perception of the world. They respond differently to everything. They have different values, different meaning, and fundamentally a different purpose.
You are still trying to make separation work through pleasure, through comforts, through acquisition, through personal achievement. You are still trying to make separation work. You want to have separation and have all the benefits of your Ancient Home, but it does not work like that, you see. You can never duplicate what God has created. In this temporary changing reality, it cannot be achieved. There will be no Heaven on Earth but there will be contribution to the Earth and to all worlds like this, of which there are countless.
God is the great attraction, pulling you, calling you. But it is not calling you away from here as much as it is calling you to contribute to this reality, for that represents your redemption. God is not going to pull you out of this reality because you are not ready to return to your Ancient Home. You have been far too identified and experienced in separation to be able to return to your Ancient Home with one mind, with resolution, with a sense of completion in being here.
Do not underestimate the power of Knowledge. It is what has kept humanity going. It is what has prevented you from destroying yourself completely. It is what has given rise to your great relationships, your great arts, your social achievements, your political progress and all of the great, kind acts and contribution that has been given throughout time. In this, you are really much more advanced than many technologically advanced races in the Universe, who have no sense of compassion for one another.
You see, it is like you have to start all over again. You cannot add the understanding of Knowledge onto your preconceived notions because they are fundamentally in error. If your assumptions are incorrect, your conclusions will be incorrect. Even if one of your assumptions is incorrect, your conclusion will be skewed. It will not be accurate.
That is why the New Message teaches the reality of your spirituality at the level of Knowledge, not the level of concepts or tales or stories, because you need this Greater Power now to face a world in decline, to face the Great Waves of Change, to recognize the Greater Darkness that is in the world that the New Message from God reveals clearly for the first time. There must be revelation here, or humanity will blindly go into the future, a future that will be unlike the past.
This represents one of God’s very rare interventions regarding the whole human family. Overseeing your life and the lives of everyone here is God’s Angels’ function. But God’s Angels have to account for many beings. They are not by your bedside every night. They are not spending time with you like your old friends. They have great and broad responsibilities, and they will respond to those who are beginning to respond to Knowledge. And they will respond to those who welcome intervention from the Angelic Presence, who seek earnestly for help and who have honorable intentions.
In this way, God does intervene in the world, but in a very unique way, behind the scenes. For God is not welcome in the world, at least not God as God really is, so people will welcome their ideas of God and their beliefs or their traditions that they will reinforce, but to have God simply appear, that would strike terror in the hearts of just about everyone here.
You are not ready for that. You are not ready for Heaven. That is why you must come now to serve. That is why God has given you a greater purpose for being here in this life. That is why you have things to achieve, things to accomplish, places to go, people to meet. That is why you are restless and cannot sit still. That is why the deeper need of your soul remains unmet and unfulfilled. That is why you cannot fulfill yourself through pleasure, through wealth or beauty, through fantasy. This just compounds your dilemma and delays the progress that you are here to make.
So God is intervening, but as a force, as an attraction. As you begin to respond to Knowledge within yourself and begin to clarify your relationships with others and your real priorities in life, then you will experience the presence of God’s Angelic oversight. But until this happens, you will feel like you are a captain of your ship, and your ship is out of control. Your thoughts are out of control. Your activities are out of your control. You don’t know what you are doing. You don’t know what you are committing yourself to. You are reckless. You are easily seduced by things around you and by the opinions and approval of others. You are a slave to other forces. That is why you must return to Knowledge and that is why the New Message from God has provided the Steps to Knowledge as one way to regain the access to the deeper mind within you and with it, a clarification of the purpose that you have come to fulfill here.
Certainly, there will be much resistance to these words, to this understanding. People will react. They will reject it. They will complain. They will accuse it of being false. They will say it comes from demons. They will say it is deceptive. They will project all of their fears upon it. They will project all of their confusion upon it. They will project their desire for separation upon it. They will defend their ideas. They will defend their beliefs. They will defend their traditions. They will be indignant. They will be outraged. They will call God’s Messenger a devil. They will say he is the Antichrist. They will say that he is the Dark Lord. They will say all kinds of ridiculous things, afraid, unable to respond. And it is their ambivalence regarding God that is the core problem.
God functions beyond human belief. God is not circumscribed by humanity’s religious traditions. God moves as God moves, not as people think God moves. Even if you can get everyone in the world to agree about a position about God, God is not bound by this. To say that God cannot send a New Message into the world is profoundly arrogant. How can you say what God will do or what God cannot do? How can you make this claim?
You may say, “Well, the last prophet said it was the last prophet,” but that is just what the last prophet said. God is responding to the needs of humanity, not to the assertions of individuals. Even God’s prophets can make mistakes and do and have.
The question is, do you want what God has to offer or will you contend against it? Will you take issue with it? Will you argue against it? Will you contest it? Will you deny it? Will you condemn it? Or will you open yourself to see what it can offer for you and for the world? This represents a fundamental decision of the individual.
And the fact that there is conflict here represents your fundamental problem regarding creation, regarding God, regarding what you want to follow. Do you want to be in charge of your life or do you want to follow something that God has given you to guide you? And are you willing to follow it with clarity and humility, recognizing your mistakes, making corrections in your life, altering your circumstances when necessary? Even if this flies in the face of what the general population concedes as truth? Even if it goes in the other direction? Even if it is not resonant or consistent with whatever ideas reside in culture at this time?
God is not conflicted. Everyone in physical reality is conflicted still. Even if they assert their ideas, even if they claim to represent God’s truth, they are conflicted. They are still ambivalent. They are still working out their fundamental problem.
The way is given and was given from the beginning. The question is, how many people can accept it and live within its mystery and carry out its direction with as much honesty and clarity and humility as possible, in contrast to people who will try to use it to get what they want, to enrich themselves, to secure themselves, to give themselves power over others, to fortify their position in life, to gain social power, to gain political power, to gain financial power, to acquire more for themselves, to fulfill their ambitions in their separated state?
The problem is not with God. The problem is with the recipient—that part of creation that wants to different, that wants to be something else. So God gives you the right and the freedom to be something else and to experience that. God is not punishing you for that. God is giving you the opportunity to experience that.
But God has sent Knowledge with you to reclaim you, to spare you, to save you and to give you something important to do in the world so that your time here will not be wasted, so that your lingering in time will have value and meaning and will be fulfilling to you as opposed to being just a tragic involvement, a wasteful exercise, a desperate and unfulfilling attempt.
If God did not love you and love creation, God would let you suffer indefinitely. “Ah, well, let them suffer indefinitely. They want to be foolish? Let them be foolish. They want to suffer? Let them suffer. They want to create their own reality? Good. Create your own reality. Here. You can imagine anything.” But God not only wants to rescue you, God wants to fulfill you, for you must give yourself to a situation that is fundamentally harmful and difficult.
If you want to know God, you need to feed people, take care of people, take care of nature, restore the natural world, offset the great damage that has been done, prepare humanity to face the Great Waves of Change, to face ecological decline, to face the loss of fundamental resources, prepare humanity to face the reality of Intervention from predatory races in the Universe who are here to take advantage of human weakness and ignorance. Take care of the person next door—whatever it is that Knowledge leads you to do at whatever level. There is no grandiosity here. There is no personal fame. There is no sainthood. Renounce these things. They do not represent a pure motive.
You reclaim your awareness of God, your understanding of God, by carrying out your very small part in God’s Plan. Only Knowledge within you knows how this can be done. To you, it will remain fundamentally mysterious. Then you will see how God works in the world and how perfect it really is and how it honors the freedom and the integrity and the rights of all who dwell here. And you will see why you could not understand it before. You will see why it remained completely confusing to you previously.
But the only way you can see the landscape is to gain altitude on the mountain. You cannot see it from the trees below. You cannot see it in the valleys below. You must climb up this great mountain of Knowledge. Only there will you see the truth. Only there will your perspective begin to be more complete. And you will see things you could not see before. And you will understand things you could not understand before. And it will be clear as day what you are seeing, whereas before it was fundamentally inconceivable.
It is to get you up the mountain that is Knowledge’s purpose so that you may see, know and recognize what could not be recognized when you were lost in the lowlands below. This analogy then of getting up the mountain is important because you must be taken to a place where you can see and know and come to terms with the deeper nature of your life and its purpose here in the world.
